Beached-Babes
More than 50 whales died today after being washed up on a secluded beach in New Zealand. Volunteers made an attempt to re-float 15 of them but sadly it failed. Shockingly New Zealand frequently sees masses of whales being beached every year but scientists are still at a loss as to why this is happening. On Saturday morning another rescue attempt will be made with heavy machinery for the remainding survivers but a chief executive of Project Jonah , a marine mammal aid organisation, says that the whales are in pretty bad shape.
Project Jonah is active now and is currently out in New Zealand battling to save these whales lives and this is something they do every year. Since this problem is on-going and Project Jonah, a registered charity made up of volunteers, is trying to do so much with so little i really feel this charity needs a spokes person.
To all you famous faces, Project Jonah and their work needs promoting.
To all you in the public, just follow the link above to their website to find out what you can do to help.
